- I was facing the same issue. Rename your file with the correct extension, in my case the license file was not having the.auz extension. Go to Explorer in windows - Views - Check in 'File Name Extensions' and see the extension of your license, it should have.auz extesion at the end of the file name.
- That exe is a keygen for makin an.auz file. Yes, i agree that it looks shady (especially with the weird background music), and why the f it would need admin rights is beyond my imagination, but it sure does work really good. To use it, click on 'this pc has no internet' or something and get your 'hardware code' so that you can type it into the keygen. That's the only code the keygen needs.

How to Activate?
- Download and install software, do not run it.
- Download Patch and Run it as administrator on installation directory of Ableton: Default is C:ProgramDataAbletonLive 9 SuiteProgram
- Patch will create the file “Authorize.auz” in same folder.
- Double click on the “Authorize.auz” to ACTIVATE and run the application.
- To keep you safe block Ableton with your Firewall.
- Done!
